The sun is finally shining, I’ve got my piñata hung, and my friend Pedro here is by my side. That must mean one thing….I’m ready to dive head first into a vat of guacamole for the Bloggiesta.
In case you’ve been totally ignoring my posts of late then you may not know what the Bloggiesta is. I’m not going to give a drawn out explanation here because you can find the whole kit and caboodle at Maw Books Blog so check her and this event out because both are super cool and fun!
As part of the festivities I’m creating this kick-off post to give you all an idea of what I’m going to attempt to do to fancy this place up (among other things) over the next three days. I have a long list of tasks and fully expect I won’t get it all done but if I finish even 1/3 I’ll be thrilled. So here is what I have in mind:

Whew! Lots and lots going on here isn’t it? Like I said if I get through 1/3 of this I’ll be truly excited and feeling quite accomplished.
So off I go on my way to Bloggiesta bliss! I imagine that I’ll need more than a few margaritas after all is said and done
What’s on your to-do list for the event? Link me up in the comments and I’ll come check you out.

Talk about needing to break the habit and use my new URL instead of my old free wordpress blog. New link is Debbie’s World of Books

You do have quite a list of goals there. I have set low goals for myself. This is my 1st blog challenge so I want to take it sloooowww.
My main goal is to have some posts saved to use when things get busy with the family & I want to set up my children book reviews to go up auto every weekend. See, small goals. I am starting a mini challenge (softdrink’s) You are 1st of 10 blogs I am commenting on this weekend. Good luck to us all

Oooh, researching and contacting a designer would have been a good goal for today. If I’d been planning on participating ahead of time I probably would have added that.

Good luck – your list is quite long! I agree with Rhapsody, that even 1/3rd would be a quite an accomplishment.
I like how clean, sparse and fun to read you keep your site. I’m glad to have discovered it through bloggiesta and Softdrink’s minichallenge.
Just stopped by to say hello and cheer you on!
