categories : Being Bookish
I know I’ve said it before and I’ll likely say it again but seeing this picture shows just how deeply I’m in. I’m in so much trouble I fear I’m one step away from an intervention.
I mean, seriously LOOK!
Does that not require immediate action? Because I’m thinking it kinda does.
Anyway, Cindy over at Cindy’s Love of Book has started a weekly meme called “Books Bought” where participants list out the books they purchased over the c
ourse of the week. Now granted this picture and list includes all of my purchases from mid-June to the present, but still. Yowza!

Kathy:
I totally agree – books are a wonderful addiction! It looks like you’ve bought some good ones.

iwriteinbooks:
I can think of less attractive addictions, myself, although that might be because I tend to be as “bad” as you…
Enjoy your reading!

Amy @ My Friend Amy:
I have the same addiction. I don’t know if my books bought would be the same, but books acquired definitely is.
I just culled two boxes and two shopping bags of books from my collection and it’s like it didn’t even make a dent!

LOL. I have the same addiction. You got some great books though. I have to pick up the Altman book too since I have the next book in my to review pile. We should set up a book swap to maybe help cut down on our purchases

I’d be afraid to participate in this meme for fear my husband would see on my blog just how many books I bring into the house on a weekly basis (I’m as bad as you are!). LOL!

I agree with Biblio Brat — I feel “normal” by comparison! The truth is though, books are my security blanket!

Well… see… it can’t be that bad. Because I don’t look at this and go “omg she needs help now”. I think more “HOLY CRAP WHERE HAS SHE BEEN SHOPPING AND HOW DO I GET THERE NOWWWW???”
Which may just mean that we both need help together, but still =D I’m in total awe! Fantastic buys this month!

Kay:
That’s a lot of books, but I’m not one to judge : I have a book addiction too, and sometimes I buy A LOT of those!
I recognize to many titles on your list to go through it ; most of them I’ve either read, bought, or put on my TBR list. There’s so many good books to read!

Jenn's Bookshelf:
Holy moly, that’s a lot of books! How do you have space to store them all? I think I’ve bought maybe 6 books in the past month, but only because I have so many already to review. However, now that I’m featuring VA authors, I need to purchase a hefty number of books (whohoo!)
