Happy Sunday!
It’s made even happier with the knowledge that the usual preparations for work are able to be pushed off an extra 24-hours in honor of Labor Day. I was hoping to be far more productive than I have been this weekend but, you know, laziness gets in the way sometimes, haha.
What have I been up to this weekend?
I stopped by Books-a-Million and picked up a few books that I didn’t need but definitely wanted. I’ve done a bit of laundry and dusting and other housework. I’ve also uploaded my reviews to GoodReads, LibraryThing and Amazon. Today I’m writing my True Blood recaps for Snark & Bark and working through my feed reader a bit more. I hope to write a few blog posts and reviews at some point too.
As for my week in reading, I’ve been a bit slower on that front this week. I’ve finished up my audio of Sophie Kinsella’s Remember Me which was an alright story. I listened to Dedication by Kraus and McLaughlin yesterday. I liked it a good deal, it’s a bit of a cross over between chick-lit and YA. Definitely worth the listen. I’m also reading Confessions of the Sullivan Sisters which I hope to finish up this weekend.
What are you all listening to and reading?

bermudaonion (Kathy):
I’ve had a lazy weekend too. My son wanted to go to the bookstore yesterday, and of course, I tagged along and came home with a new book. You know how badly I needed it. I’m reading The Life You’ve Imagined and my son’s got me reading the Scott Pilgrim books too.

Hi, Michelle – glad you found some books you wanted! (I never need books- I have too many unread ones on the shelves already – but that certainly doesn’t stop me from buying them!)
I’m reading The Gendarme by Mark T. Mustian right now, and listening to both Incarceron and The Girl Who Played With Fire on audio – alternating between discs (or files, rather, on my MP3 player.) They’re both great.
Have a great week!

No labor day holiday in Germany today, so I am working! Can’t wait to finally be able to watch the rest of True Blood so I can read your recaps!

Well, I will either read Paranormalcy by Kierstan White or Extraordinary by Nancy Werlin.
TB question, was the finale last night? And what is this Snark & Bark, a place to talk True Blood?? Going there now…
