Good Evening My Friends!
I’m writing to your from the 6th floor of the Hampton Inn in New York City. Take a look at my view:
Not quite as flashy as last year’s Times Square accommodations but I still have a window to look out of, the hotel is super close to the Javits and definitely not as harsh on the pocketbook.
I’m already rockin’ and rollin’ now that I’m here. After an evening with @bookladysblog last night we drove to NYC singing old school hip hop and various other 90′s tunes along the way. Once here I checked into the hotel and waited until @lenoreva arrived. Not long after @lizb came to hang with us and we chatted about books and television and all sorts of awesome stuff. Poor @catagator finally arrived after what sounded like the longest day ever playing planes, trains and automobiles. But thankfully all of us were able to catch up with @kimberlymarief and her boyfriend @awalrusdarkly for some dinner and great conversation.
It’s been a pretty full day first day of the BEA/BBC trip. Tomorrow I’ll be heading over to Books of Wonder to peruse the shelves, hang with the aforementioned awesome people and see some great authors.
I’m going to do my best to try and make a few posts happen this week but I’m not going to guarantee. If you’re not already doing so check out my Tumblr as I’m more likely to do some quick updates there instead of trying to write out longer posts here.

Jenn's Bookshelves:
The view from our hotel last year was nice but boy was it bright! Felt like daytime even at night due to all the billboards, etc.
See you on Monday!
